Abe was a republican.
Spent 4 years in office. From 1861-1865
He led the union to the civil war so that the south
wouldn't secede from the United States.
Signed the Emmancipation proclamation that was
designed to free the slaves.
Served in the Black Hawk War
Lincoln was 6 feet 4 inches, making him the tallest U.S. President.
Was the first president to be assasinated. He was assasinated at
Ford's Theater in Washington, D.C.
